Uniform Policy

Uniform Dress Code Policy for 2010/2011 School Year

 

Students may wear the following clothing:

v     Dress pants, skirts, skorts, shorts, jumpers & crops in navy, khaki or black

v     Polo shirts in red, white, light blue, navy blue or dark green

v     Sweaters in navy blue, white or dark green

v     Turtlenecks in white, red, light blue, navy blue or dark green

v     Blouses or dress shirts in light blue or white

Shirts and sweaters may only have the school logo, no other writing or decals.

 

 

Students may not wear and carry the following:

v     Cargo pants, shorts or skirts

v     Jeans

v     Open toe shoes, flip-flops, sandals or shoes with wheels

v     Back packs with wheels

 

If your child comes to school out of uniform we will call home for a change of clothes. If the call is unsuccessful,  the following consequences will be enforced:

v     1st offense-warning letter sent home

v     2nd offense-working lunch and recess

v     3rd offense-two working lunches and recesses and a call home

v     4th offense-parent/teacher/principal conference

 

Students in Grades Kindergarten through 3 are required to keep spare clothes in their backpack in case of an accident.

Please note that staff members can not assist children in changing their clothes.
